Surprise Visits from Friends

Last week, the Hubs two best childhood friends stopped in from a visit. One of his buddies, OC, is in town from out west, and we haven't seen either of these guys in about a year and a half (didn't realize that until we all sat down and talked about it!  Life gets in the way sometimes, doesn't it?)  The Hubs and I were trying to plan a visit to see them both while OC was back here on the East Coast, but we couldn't seem to work out the timing.

Thankfully, OC had time in his visiting schedule to come down to visit us. We knew we would see him on Thursday sometime, but we didn't expect that he would take RD with him too!  The Hubs was so surprised, and it was really wonderful to see them both.

I wish we could have hung out with them more, but again, Life gets in the way.  We all went to dinner here, known for its awesome skyline view of RVA, and enjoyed some burgers and beers on the patio.

After dinner, the boys went out to be boys, and N and I had a girls night! We're so lucky to have great friends, and it really was so so so awesome to see these guys! Of course we missed out on spending time with RD's wife and his little girl, so we are just going to have to take a trip to visit them!
