My Friday Night

I came home from work, and the Hubs and N were hard at work making dinner...


 From this awesome cookbook (which, by the way, you should own.)


To make me this (which is shrimp and sausage jambalaya, and it was delicious my the way).  And be impressed ladies.  My husband informed me that the grocery store was out of andouille sausage, so he used chorizo instead.  The Hubs knows the difference between andouille sausage and chorizo.  The same man who survived for years only knowing  how to order a sub sandwich and the extent of his cooking knowledge was H.amburger H.elper, knows the difference between andouille and chorizo. They can be taught, friends! AH. Mazing.


All so I could enjoy this:
