More Things I Can't Live Without

My Le Creuset Round French Oven (in Kiwi)

It's true.  They say it's that last piece of cookware you will ever buy (half true...I want more Le Creuset French Ovens in various sizes).  I have a crap cooktop.  This enamel cast-iron pot is AWESOME.  It balances out the uneven burners with it's awesome cast-iron-ness.  And I cook everything in it, from stews, to roasts, to jambalaya (obviously), and a bajillion other things.  I can't speak for some of the other brands of enamel cast-iron cookware.  I wanted a Le Creuset French oven for some time, and after dreaming and dreaming about it, my mother gifted this lovely one to me for Christmas last year.  It has gotten a year of abuse in my kitchen, and of course still looks fabulous, and perfectly functional.  I know they are super expensive...but this will eventually be an heirloom item.  I think it was well worth the money.  AND IT'S KIWI GREEN, PEOPLE!

Le Creuset did not pay me to say this.  I am a huge fan.  But if they want to pay me, I would not be opposed to accepting their offers. Or free pots.
