More Proof of My Idiocy

Yesterday, I received an email from D.ell about a pretty sweet laptop deal. I have been looking for a laptop for the Hubs, and this has everything I was looking for at a pretty decent price. I was excited. I waited until I was about to leave the office, and I went online to order.


Now, usually when you order things on line, you get an email (almost instantly) that shows you ordered something, right? Well. I didn’t. I thought that was weird, but moved on. I checked the My Account link on the website a little while later, and it showed that I had NO orders. I thought that was especially strange. So I waited a few more minutes, checked everything again, and figured my order must not have gone through. I ordered again. Nothing. I went home, ate my delicious and nutritious bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch for dinner, and got in bed.

This morning, I checked my B.lackberry, and I had two email confirmations from De.ll. For two different computers. UGH. I just got off the phone with India, after wasting 30 minutes of my life, and thankfully was able to cancel the order. But seriously! This is why you have a website! So it updates instantly and people don’t feel stupid when they try to check their order status!
