I have totally been MIA. In the beginning of October, I finally got the blasted gall bladder removed. Of course, my body gave me problems, and I had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days (it was a bitch...add one super emotional post-partum woman, and then tell her some gall bladder crap is stuck in her, and then that she can't see her precious baby equals one giant meltdown). I also realized that when you have a baby and get major surgery, your body releases endorphins, so you don't feel half bad. When you get your stupid gall bladder removed less than a month after your awesome c-section, your body does NOT release endorphins, and you feel like complete crap. I spent two weeks after that recovering, and then the last two weeks just getting shit back in order, laundry done, house cleaned, trying to visit with people who I haven't seen, do some work here and there, and mentally preparing myself to go back to work (which happens on Monday, FUCK). I think I am finally getting back to 100%, and a little bit of normalcy, which I am very much looking forward to. Naomi is doing super, I, of course, am over thinking EVERYTHING - is she eating enough? should I start sleep training her? am I spoiling her too much (YES)? and the list goes on and on, as I am sure you can understand. The only good thing about me going back to work is that I will be around a computer more often, so I can resume semi-regular posting. I probably would have been able to post more while I have been home, but apparently, my husband will just DIE if he's not playing on-line poker. The only reason I am on the computer right now, actually, is because it's unreasonably early in the morning, and I couldn't get back to sleep after tonight's (this mornings?) 3 am feeding.
I am working on drafting some posts of the last month and a half and all the interesting things that have been going on!
